2007 William Buckley Classic - Gallery One - Friday Arvo

Out the back of the Hawthorn Suites Apartments, on the fringes of the 13th Beach driving range, a few Bushrangers got stuck into the Sherrin to warm up a few old bones and muscles in preparation for what was to be a big weekend. This is some of what happened.

Dick_kick.JPG

Dicko keeps his centre of gravity low and shabby, but otherwise looks a treat.

Casha Brown follows the flight of another pin-point accurate pass.

Rog_leans.JPG

Arbeige in the apres follow through position after firing off another raking left footer from his arsenal.

Ho_floats.JPG

The Hominator in full flight.

Dee_kicks.JPG

Mikey Dee, striking a poetic and graceful pose, showing some serious form with the Sherrin

Seven_men.JPG

Dick, once again, is beaten by the bounce of the funny shaped ball. Pw Jones lurks.

Davo_kick.JPG

Davo leans back, ala Daicos, and delivers another rifling pass.

Q_kicks.JPG

Quigley gets involved in the kick-to-kick and, despite having a touch of the Chris Tarrant in the ball drop, does a bloody good job for one not born to the game.

Ash_rides.JPG

Casha rides home another long bomb which surely ended in a contested pack mark situation.

Priorities.JPG

Mike, Davo, Ash, Ho & Willo, each taking their own level of interest in the pill. Mike appears to be moving in to contest the mark whilst keeping both hands on his beer. That's ambitious!

Willo_kicks.JPG

Willo with the Sherrin at the drop and about to launch another powerful missile into the heavens.

Footy_card.JPG

Mikey Dee warming down but still finding the strength to put a little back into the game with a footy card pose for the kids as he attempts to show how to dish off a left handed handpass from the pine.
