The tournament was contested in good spirit and was once again an awesome test of golf on some super courses. On the first day, Nick Moota and Paul Himma tore the Legends Course to pieces with a brilliant display of ball-striking and great scoring. Defending Champ Gav Doran playing with Robert Hocking (son of Bushranger Golf Legend Neil Hocking who won this in 2013 with Gav Doran), scored a brilliant 42, while Richard Fellner and Stefan Diekmann posted 40 to be in third.
On the second day the swoopers came with 8of the 12 teams scoring in the 40s, notably Tomm Cassidy & Robbie O'Donnell with 45 and Ian Crotty & Mick Van Raay with 43. The leaders, however, backed up their stellar opening round with another super effort to post the best ever score at the WBC and hold on for a two-shot victory in what was another great tournament.
