BRG Handicap Day - May 30 2010 - Sunshine Golf Club

The ninth Victorian Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2010 was held at Sunshine Golf Club. The Handicap Day was run as a co-sanctioned event with The SGA Tour (Vic). All players who were entered in the Tour event had the option of paying an extra $5 to compete in the Handicap Day for prizes and POY points. Below we Paul Enion (left) lining up with a bevvy of BRG Champions on the first tee: Warwick Stonehouse (2004 Bushranger Cup Champion), Roger Brown (2006 & 2008 Bushranger Cup Champion, 2007 & 2009 Kelly Gang Shootout Champion and 2007 & 2008 William Buckley Classic Champion) and Neil Hocking (2009 Kelly Gang Shootout Champion).

Below we see reigning BRG Player of the Year and Bushranger Cup Champion Richard Fellner, having his problems behind the par four 18th hole (his 9th). He overshot the green with his approach and found himself very near the bar to play his third shot. He later remarked he perhaps should have stayed there instead of continuing on the second nine.
