The seventh Victorian Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2010 was held at Amstel Ranfurlie Golf Course. The Handicap Day was run as a co-sanctioned event with The SGA Tour (Vic). All players who were entered in the Tour event had the option of paying an extra $5 to compete in the Handicap Day for prizes and POY points. Below we see new Bushranger Michael Di Carlo winding up for his drive on the par five 2nd hole. Michael finished third and picked up some valuable points in the BRG Player of the Year.

Below we see SGA Tour player Nick Wood watching his second shot on the long par five 18th hole. He chose an excellent vantage point to observe this shot by arranging for his drive to find the dead centre of the 17th fairway. Excellent course management by Woody as this hole is a difficult challenge with an uphill 2nd shot required and an elevated green guarded by some treacherous bunkers.

Above is the prize pool that was on offer at 2010 Handicap Day # 7 and below that is Michael Di Carlo putting from the fringe of the par five 8th hole in the middle of a blistering sun shower. Below we see the winner on the day, reigning Bushranger Cup Champion Rob Lugton celebrating with his booty at the presentation ceremony after the round. It seems the Crockman believes it is time for someone else to have a turn on the podium as Rob continued his blistering start to the year that has seen him jag wins in five events and vaulted him into the lead in the BRG Player of the Year, the SGA Tour 4BBB Championship Championship and the SGA Tour Order of Merit. Luggo may now be a marked man with a few unscrupulous Bushrangers girding themselves to knock him off his perch!
