BRG Handicap Day - March 6 2010 - St. Andrews Beach

The fourth Victorian Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2010 was held at St. Andrews Beach Golf Links. The Handicap Day was run as a co-sanctioned event with The SGA Tour (Vic). All players who were entered in the Tour event had the option of paying an extra $5 to compete in the Handicap Day for prizes and POY points. Below we see reigning BRG Player of the Year  Richard Fellner demonstrating his form on the tee of the par five 1st hole.

Below we see John Hearne winding up for his long approach on the 10th fairway. The long par four hole is one of the most difficult on the course with an uphill 2nd shot required to an elevated green guarded on all sides by heavy duty bunkers, cabbage and magoombah.

Weather: Humid and overcast - good conditions for scoring.
