BRG Handicap Day - May 25 2008 - Gallery & Results

The fourth Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2008 was held at the Goonawarra Golf Club in overcast but calm conditions with just a zephyr of breeze bobbing up on the opening holes. At the finish, after all the Bushrangers had holstered their weapons, Paul Toll had made off with a thrilling one-shot victory. He piled on a tremendous nett 7 under par 65 to hold off the fast finishing Big Mick Van Raay and new member Rod Piper who finished tied for 2nd with nett 6 under par 66. The suave Seve Mileo sidled in to fourth place with a focussed display of ball-striking and BRG Player of the Year leader Warwick "Boo" Sonehouse tied with new member Richard Bastow for fifth. The final results are below and the standings for the BRG POY have been updated.

Matthew Thomas (long drive), Rod Piper (2nd), Paul Toll (winner) and Dave McAdam (7th) make up the most successful four of the day.

David McAdam shows off his handy work on the Par four third green where he smacked his approach from 155 out to here. In case you are wondering, yes, he made the birdie putt.

Roger pitches onto the 11th green to set up a birdie after an outrageous drive where he took on the water hazard guarding the dogleg.

This fancy drift-parking by the tee of the par five 15th hole was immediately followed by a groovy 70s-style bonnet-roll by Arbeige.

Seve coming in to the ball for his second shot on the par five 15th hole. He flushed it and ran through the green to set up an eagle opportunity. Da King observes.
