Luggo takes out 2012 BRG Player of the year title!
Rob Lugton (aka Luggo) created history in 2010 with his unprecedented clean sweep of the BRG Major Titles with wins at the Bushranger Cup, Kelly Gang Shootout and William Buckley Classic and the Player of the Year (POY) title. in 2012 he didn't add to his major championship titles, but he did win the player of the year title for the second time when he tied with BRG impresario Matthew Pitt (aka Pw Jones). Above we see Luggo receiving the POY Perpetual Trophy from our friend Andy Lee at the SGA Tour (Vic) 2010 Tour Championship at Kingston Heath.

Bushranger Golf has founded Social Golf Australia (SGA) to run official golf events. All golfers are welcome and anyone can play in the events. SGA runs the Social Golf Club Championships and The SGA Tour, a State-based series of official comps for amateur golfers with results on GOLF Link. SC Freaks have all the fun at the 2013 Bushranger Cup!
Above we see The Geesh, Mikey Dee, Holy Guacamole and Simmo of The Stringybark Creek Freaks, the 2013 Bushranger Cup Champions. This freakish crew milked the 2013 Cup for all it was worth with a stellar and entertaining performance between rounds. In spite of some furious self-handicapping, they still produced the goods on the golf course and ran away with a mighty Cup win - the second Cup for Dee & Simmo and a maiden win for The Geesh and Holy Guacamole in the greatest social golf event in Australia. Diesal & Dubs go bonkers at 2012 William Buckley Classic
Dave Warwick (Diesal) and Matthew Pitt (Dubs) got off the chain to win the 2012 William Buckley Classic played on the Mornington Peninsula. They put on a superb display of golfing to clear out to a narrow lead after the first day and then hold on to win on Sunday. For all the results, check out the 2012 WBC Results page (coming soon).
The Glenrowan Hacks win 2012 The Kelly Gang Shootout!
The 2012 Kelly Gang Shootout was on July 21 & 22 at the Rich River Golf Club.Andrew Berry, Jeremy Dray, Matthew Thomas & John Smith of The Glenrowan Hacks (above) had a great tournament to post a five-shot win. For more, check out the 2012 KGS Results page and the Kelly Gang Shootout page.
Cash & Co. Classic at Barnbougle Dunes & The Lost Farm!
A group of adventurous Bushrangers saddled up for the Cash & Co Classic in May and were treated to a deluxe golfing experience at Barnbougle Dunes and The Lost Farm. Above we see the 2012 Champions, Mark Morgan and Craig Smith, celebrating their win as they prepare to board the flight to Melbourne.
